About
Innovation and progress in products and services are essential for L&R in order to be able to respond even better to customers' wishes. To strengthen this innovative power, the L&R Accelerator Program was launched in 2023. The L&R Accelerator Program quickly gained popularity among startups as well as L&R colleagues. Due to last year's great success, the L&R Accelerator Program is being held again this year. By providing a structured yet flexible framework, L&R offers startups the necessary resources, mentors and networking opportunities to succeed. From the Kick-off Event on Oct 15th and 16th, 2024, the participating startups will develop innovative ideas in L&R's predefined fields of action and pitch them to a jury of experts on Dec 3rd, 2024. The winner of the L&R Accelerator Program last year was the Irish startup FeelTect. For more information click here.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Management
In the action field "Artificial Intelligence and Data Management", our focus includes the exploration of platforms for seamless data integration and real-time analytics, ensuring data quality for precise AI insights, and advancing automated documentation for greater transparency. We emphasize the importance of ethical AI, predictive analytics for strategic foresight, and generative AI to bridge human-AI communication. Additionally, we prioritize establishing robust AI governance to navigate compliance and ethical standards.
Digital Solutions for Outpatient Care
The action field "Digital Solutions for Outpatient Care" addresses the strategic development and deployment of digital technologies to facilitate the shift of medical services from inpatient to outpatient settings. This approach aims to bring healthcare closer to patients' daily lives while enhancing the efficiency, accessibility, and quality of medical care.
The action fields were thoroughly evaluated during an idea workshop. The primary purpose of this evaluation was to identify key focus points, which will help to narrow down the broad scope and ensure that our efforts are directed towards the most impactful and relevant areas.

The L&R Accelerator Program will begin with an inspiring and intensive Kick-off Event on Oct 15th and 16th, 2024. This event will immerse participants in the L&R ecosystem, introduce them to the key players and set the framework for the program's activities. An essential part of the Kick-off Event will be the presentation of the predefined fields of action and the performance of several masterclasses in presence. The Kick-off Event will also serve as an opportunity to get to know each other and network.

1. Reflections on the L&R Accelerator Program Experience
The Accelerator Program was an amazing experience for our team. The support and resources we received were incredibly helpful, allowing us to really boost our skills and knowledge. We loved getting a closer look at the company and chatting with the experts. The final event was also fantastic for meeting other startups. We even got to show our ideas and prototypes to the management, which was a great opportunity.
2. L&R Accelerator Impact: What We Gained and Learned from the Program
We have gained in-depth specialist knowledge and practical skills in the healthcare sector and have already been able to deal with topics relating to product training and sales force onboarding for the specific case. The opportunity to take part in various events and trade fairs afterwards has expanded our network in the industry. The direct exchange with other startups and entrepreneurs was particularly valuable, providing us with new inspiration and innovative approaches for our projects.
3. Collaboration Kickoff: A Look at How Our Partnership Began
The cooperation was smooth and extremely productive right from the start. Thanks to a clear communication and targeted support from the Accelerator team, we were able to make rapid progress at the beginning. The regular check-ins and feedback rounds with the project team help us to develop the project further. Overall, the collaboration was characterized by a high level of professionalism and a deep understanding of our needs and challenges.
Application Process
The first step in the Application process is the submission of your online application by Aug 9th, 2024. In addition to filling out the application form, please email us your pitch deck as well. You can send your pitch deck to Accelerator@de.LRMed.com.
In the Evaluation phase, the submitted applications are thoroughly reviewed and assessed. Our expert panel evaluates the startups' business potential, innovation, and suitability for our L&R Accelerator Program. This phase may include several steps, such evaluation of the submitted documents, due diligence, interviews and additional screenings.
In the Response phase, startups will be informed about the outcome of their application. Successful startups will receive an offer to join the L&R Accelerator Program. Those who are not selected will receive feedback. All responses are communicated by Sep 10th, 2024, ensuring that every applicant is kept informed in a timely and transparent manner.
